Abstract

Indonesia Armed Forces (TNI) was given the authority and responsibility for the use of firearms in accordance with the standards of military equipment. TNI limit the use of a firearms to prevent abuse in the peace or non-combat incident. Members of the TNI allowed brought firearms when condition non-combat are those who is on guard duty. Exercise and members of intelligence and secutiry. The negligence of the use of firearms by members of TNI in Indonesian is still high. This research aims to know how to use firearms procedures and sanction to TNI members who did neglect the use of firearms. This research focuses on positive law in the form of legislation. The method used is the normative analysis. After carrying out this research, it can be conculed that the sanctions for TNI members who did negligence of the use firearms is can be legal sanctions and administrative sanctions. Form of supervision of firearms TNI members done routinely or incidental. As a suggestion, TNI must tighten the terms of possession of firearms and control.
