Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Environmental Law courses on the awareness and behavior of law faculty students in preserving environmental functions on the campus of the Faculty of Law, Atma Jaya University, Yogyakarta. This research was conducted on the campus of the Faculty of Law, Atma Jaya University, Yogyakarta. The research method uses empirical legal research, namely research that focuses on social facts. Sources of data from primary data obtained directly from informants and respondents through interviews and questionnaires. Sources of data from primary legal materials and secondary legal materials obtained from the 1945 Constitution, Law No. 32 of 2009, obtained from expert opinions and non-legal opinions obtained from books, journals, research results, internet, sources and Researchrelated laws. Based on the results of the survey that the author conducted with a questionnaire which covered aspects, the influence of environmental law courses on students, namely Environmental Law courses influenced students' awareness and behavior to protect the environment.
