Abstract

The title of the writing of this law on the Review of Law and Human Rights Perspectives on Euthanasia. The purpose of this legal are to investigate and obtain data about how the arrangements and Euthanasia candidates in Indonesia on its relation to Human Rights. The method of this research in legal writing was normative legal research, i.e. a research of which was focused on positive legal norm by shape regulations and in this research it needed secondary data as main data. Settings on Euthanasia in Indonesia that is only found in article 344 of the Criminal Code. This article prohibits all forms of Euthanasia both active and passive Euthanasia. With the recognition of the principle of Euthanasia means also recognizes the right to life and right to die this is a good idea related to the death penalty sentence that also involves the safety of citizens living soul. So by looking at the things mentioned above, we should remember the review of the formulation of article 344 of the Criminal Code, to conform with the wishes of Indonesia, especially on the issue of Euthanasia. The representatives in the House of Representatives should immediately make the law consistent with legal papers written by the author that is about Euthanasia. So, both in law and Indonesian law practice everyday are really a state law that respects Human Rights.
