Abstract
This study aims to determine the basis for the judge's consideration in verifying children as victims of prostitution. This legal research uses normative legal research, namely legal research that focuses on a study of the norms and legal basis in force. Normative legal research uses secondary data as the main data and primary data as supporting data. In the preparation of this thesis, the writer uses descriptive research. Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning child protection, Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 48 of 2009 concerning Judicial Power, KUHP. Is the main legal basis in writing law. The data obtained will be processed and then analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that law enforcement against the practice of child prostitution was in accordance with the existing laws, norms, doctrines and laws.
