Abstract

Laundry was an industry that offered services to wash and iron clothes. The location of laundry are usually situated in areas with a large number of students and offices. There's a lot of laundry in Sleman County. The more laundrooms there are, the more waste generated can pollute the water. A 2016 study carried out in the village of Sinduadi, Mlati growth found that phosphate and Ph of groundwater are exceeding the limits on Pemerintah Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Nomor 2 Tahun 2008. The study is about the responsibility of cleaning and waste management efforts to prevent the pollution of Sleman County. The method used in this study is an empirical law study that focuses on social fact, data is obtained using a questionnaire. Research has shown that the has not been responsible for the incorporation's permit and management of waste products as a protection to the environment of Sleman County. The government has not acted thoroughly but only to a largescale laundry venture. Sleman District environment service recommends that Sleman District should build, provide regular discussions, and work with local families to provide information on permits, the importance of waste management; to do business with Jogja waste management installation, it can be recommended to those doing laundry.
