Abstract
This research is entitled "The Practice of Misuse of Serat Kekancingan Magersari Right over Sultan Ground Land by being transferred to other parties in Kretek District, Bantul Regency". This research aims to find out how the practice of abuse of Serat Kekancingan Magersari Right is used. This research also determined what efforts have been made by the Yogyakarta Palace to prevent abuse of the Serat Kekancingan Magersari Right. This research used an empirical method that focuses on the facts on the ground; the data used is primary data, supported by secondary data. Data obtained from sources and respondents then analyzed qualitatively. This research concludes that the practice of abuse of Serat Kekancingan Magersari Right is carried out by contracting and trading.
