Abstract

The title of this research is a juridical review of the crime of sexual intercourse committed by children against children in Purworejo Regency (case study number 10/Pid.Sus.Anak/2019/PN. Pwr). There is a child who is in conflict with the law because of his act of committing the crime of sexual intercourse with a child victim. The purpose of this study is to review and find out the judge's considerations in imposing criminal sanctions against the perpetrators of the criminal act of decision number 10/Pid.Sus.anak/2019/PN.Pwr has paid attention to the best interests of children. This research was conducted at the Purworejo District Court. To complete this research, the author uses data collection techniques in the form of library studies, interviews, data analysis, and through the thinking process, that’s why this research uses a normative writing method and focuses on positive legal norms in implementation. The conclusion of this study is that the judge's consideration in deciding the criminal case number 10/Pid.Sus.anak/2019/PN.Pwr basically considers the principle in the best interests of the child. The fulfillment of these principles is seen in the fulfillment of the judge's considerations philosophically, juridically, and sociologically
