Abstract

This study has two research question, i.e., comparison of Labor Law and Job Creation Law, and implementation of fixed-time work agreement (FTWA) in contractor service company in Kubu Raya District after the enactment of Job Creation Law. The purpose of this study is to find out the differences between Labor Law and Job Creation Law in regulating a FTWA and the impact of changing Labor Law into Job Creation Law to the implementation of FTWA in a contractor service company in Kubu Raya District. This study is empirical and the data was obtained by conducting interviews with informants and answers from respondents. There are some differences between Labor Law and Job Creation Law regarding the provisions of the FTWA, and the implementation of FTWA at the company where this study was conducted was not fully in accordance with the provisions of the legislation
