Abstract

The main function of banking is to gather and to gutter the fund. Undang-Undang No 7 Tahun 1992 Tentang Perbankan pasal 3 menyatakan bahwa fungsi utama perbankan adalah menghimpun dan menyalurkan dana. Especial, the function of banking is called as banking intermediation board. It must be strived for applying the carefulness principle, especially in gutter the fund society in the form of credit. Guttering fund in the form of credit contain the big risk that is the happening of credit stuck where debitor cannot pay it's debt to the bank because, by guttering fund in the form of credit contain big risk, so the bank like to gutter the fund in the other forms which it have low low risk and disregarding the main function as banking intermediation board. The aim of this research is to know how the realization of the bank function as banking intermediation board is. the research method is used the empirical research method in the field, by the primary data is the main data beside the data secondary, the location of this research is in the Bnak Pasar Kabupaten Gunung Kidul. The qualitative data analyzing method is supported by the quantitative data analyzing method. The result of the research is known that the banking intermediation board was done by Bank Pasar Kabupatn Gunung Kidul. This matter I known in the increasing of the fund amount which success to gather it and also it success to gutter from the year of 2002to 2006. The suggestion which can be submitted that bank must be more socialized to society, because a lot of our society have not yet understood the procedures to submit the credit to the bank.
