Abstract

Children are part of a family, a family without children looks unhappily. Children are some of important asset in family, societies and country so they must get best protection from us. Nowadays there are many cases that children become the victims of violence in household and criminal. This cases number always increases in every year. This condition is very apprehensive. All types of violence to the children are violation of human right and discrimination action. So, to strive for getting law guarantee for the children, The Government of Indonesia determined the law to protect the children such as a Regulation Number 23 / 2002 about Protection of Children and a Regulation Number 23 / 2004 about Violence Abolition in Household . The children who became the victims of violence of household have the right to get protection by social institution like Mutiara Women and Children Crisis Center. The social institution (NGO) contributions are giving medical treatment, psychological treatment, social and economical handling, by comprehensive and continious reference mechanism to the children who become the victims of violence in household.
