Abstract

Advocate’s is one legal upholder apparatus which has as very important role. The Advocate’s role is handling the case of sexual harassment towards children is needed. Advocate’s plays a role ass a guide as well as an interpreter (not really sure) for the judge to give questions to the Victims in the judgment process because at that time the Victims are depressing. This research used normative research method which means research towards law principles related with the law substance. The data source that was used in this research used secondary data as the main data which was got from primary data source. It was obtained directly through interview and se4condary source that covered law which covered expert’s opinion and the related literature.Analysis method used in this research was qualitative analysis method. It meant analyzing the data obtained through interview and then it was concluded by using deductive method; the way of thinking based on general knowledge. After that, the specific conclusion was made. According to UU No. 18 th 2003, advocate’s is a person who works in giving law service in the courts as well as outside the court that meet the requirements based on this law. The obstacles faced by the Advocate in giving law protection towards children as the victims of sexual harassment were the children did not want to tell anything or it was difficult to communicate. More over, the Family tended to close their selves. The way that Advocate’s did handle those obstacles was by doing the rapprochement and opening communication with the Victims.
