Abstract
Criminal responsibility is the ability to be responsible, mistakes are intentional or negligent, there is also no excuse for forgiveness. The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze criminal responsibility for perpetrators of sedative drug abuse and its constraints. The research method uses empirical research types. Primary data collection through interviews and secondary data through library research. The conclusion is that criminal liability for perpetrators of sedative abuse is the same as criminal liability in general, namely by conducting an investigation to find and obtain evidence, after 14 days and the evidence has been declared complete it will be submitted to the Public Prosecutor
