Abstract
Industry is a form of activity in which the production of food, goods and/or products is produced through industrial factors which include tools, materials, information, people and natural resources which are managed in a production system. Industrial development in Indonesia shows progress in the development of the Indonesian nation's economy. In its development, industrial activities that occur have an impact, namely liquid waste, this liquid waste that the Government and the Environmental Agency must pay attention to. Good liquid waste management must be supervised and enforced as a protection for the environment. The method used in this study is empirical research which is field research with primary data obtained from interviews with informants. Liquid waste management carried out by PT. Dong Young Tress Indonesia, Bantul Regency, has UKL-UPL because the industry carries out activities that can have an impact on the environment which are supervised by the Environmental Service. The resulting liquid waste has been managed with IPAL and in accordance with the UKL-UPL that is owned, but in the IPAL process there are still high levels, namely COD and BOD levels in the wastewater, this is not in accordance with the environmental permit granted, then an administrative sanction is given in the form of guidance to carry out waste water management with IPAL.
