Abstract

The increasing population in West Java Province certainly has an impact on increasing the volume of waste caused by the production of household activities. Until now, the problem of the volume of waste in the Integrated Waste Treatment Plant has become a complicated problem because it brings many negative impactscaused such as polluted groundwater, waste pollution, the condition of the surrounding soil becomes damaged which affects the community. The main problem that is often faced by the community, especially the Bantar Gebang Waste Integrated Treatment Site area, is the polluted river water because it is adjacent tothe Bantar Gebang Integrated Waste Treatment Site. Environmental problems dueto waste have become part and responsibility between the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and with the community. The increasing human population as a consumer is increasing the volume of waste every day.
