Abstract
Existing industrial development in cities today resulted in increased pollution, health problems, and environmental interference. Pekalongan is well known as the Batik city, there are many large industries and small industries (home industries) that potentially lead to pollution and environmental damage. Pollution occurs in the Pekalongan River, which in everyday life Pekalongan River has a very important role for the community around. The thesis was entitled "Legal Protection of Pekalongan River Due To Pollution Resulted by Home Industry Activities In Pekalongan". This problem arises because many home industries which dispose of waste into rivers without any prior treatment. This study uses primary and secondary data sources.
