Abstract

The background of the author uses this topic due to the increasing use of motorized vehicles in Sleman Regency which triggers environmental pollution, especially air pollution. The formulation of the problem taken by the author is How are the legal arrangements and the implementation of controlling air pollution due to motorized vehicles in Sleman Regency? What are the obstacles and solutions in controlling air pollution due to motorized vehicles in Sleman Regency? The purpose of this study is to find out the legal arrangements and implementation of air pollution control due to motorized vehicles in Sleman Regency to find out the obstacles and solutions in controlling air pollution due to motorized vehicles in Sleman Regency. The results of thisthesis writing research are that emission testing is one of the efforts made by the Sleman Regency Environmental Service to reduce air pollution due to increased motorized vehicles because the Sleman Regency area itself is a public area, which allows many workers' vehicles from outside Sleman Regency to come to carry out work activities and when holidays arrive there will be more vehiclesfrom outside the area that enterthe Sleman Regency area.
