Abstract

The title of the thesis on the role of parking fees in increasing the income of Ketapang Regency. The formulation of the problem in this research is about how to manage parking service fees local revenue in Ketapang Regency and what obstacles are encountered in managing parking service fees to increase local revenue. carried out by the Ketapang Regency government in optimizing regional original income from parking service fees. In its role, retribution has an important role that is not too big compared to other regional fees and taxes in Ketapang Regency. Although the role is not too big, parking fees also affect the income area of Ketapang Regency. Parking fees are able to reach even above the target that has been set every year. If the parking fees do not contribute according to the target or are less than the target, then Ketapang Regency's income will also decrease in value. In an effort to optimize the collection of parking fees, Ketapang Regency has made efforts by the regional government, one of which is to provide guidance to parking attendants, conduct evaluations of all parking attendants and parking managers, conduct supervision and control in the field, increase revenue targets and increase revenue targets. target parking fees each year.
