Abstract

The application of the principle of the best interest of children against children who are gambling crimes in Tangerang. To know the application and implementation of the principle obstacle in the best interest of the child gambling crimes in Tangerang. The kind of research that used is normative legal research, legal research is done through a process of abstraction deduction of positive legal norms are applicable a description, systematization, analysis, interpretation, and the rate of positive law, vertically and horizontally on the implementation of the principle issues for the best interest for children against children crimes gambling in Tangerang. Application of the principle of best interest of the child can already implemented, but not optimally. In addition, there are obstacles in the application of this principle, the law enforcement officers (police, prosecutors, and judge) do not understand the importance of substance that contained in Undang-undang Perlindungan Anak, that every action will taken is the best interest of the child and to protection of children.
