Abstract

The purpose of conducting this research and writing is to find out the efforts that have been made by the Yogyakarta City Government in an effort to fulfill the community's right to a clean and healthy environment which has been stated in Article 65 of Law No. 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management. In this study the writer will use the Empirical Legal Research Method, which is a research method that focuses on existing social facts. The sources that the author will use are obtained directly from sources and also respondents through interviews which will be shared digitally and physically. Meanwhile, the authors will take primary legal data sources and secondary legal materials from the 1945 Constitution, Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management, expert opinions, and journals.
