Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how waste management is at TPAS, North Barito Regency. The type of legal research used is empirical legal research. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviewing informants and respondents. The resource person for this research was the Department of the Environment of North Barito Regency. The respondents of this study were the Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) of North Barito Regency. The results of the study show that waste management at TPAS as an effort to prevent environmental pollution in North Barito Regency has not been carried out according to the law. In managing waste at TPAS, North Barito Regency, there are obstacles, namely the lack of budget in fulfilling waste management facilities at TPAS, North Barito Regency, so that waste management is not in accordance with the provisions of Government Regulation Number 81 of 2012 concerning Management of Household Waste and Waste Similar to Household Waste.
