Abstract
Payment with a cashless system is growing very rapidly and create payments using QR Code channels based on QRIS. Payments using QR Code are increasing by 300% as of December 2021. QRIS is one of the preferred payment options. However, payment using QRIS is not in accordance with Article 1 of the Currency Law which says that the Indonesian currency is Rupiah and money is legal tender consisting of metal and paper Rupiah. This research uses normative research methods by reviewing legal regulations in Indonesia as a primary data source. The result of this study is that QRIS transactions are legal transactions according to Indonesian law.
