Abstract

This research is based on the problem of how the rule of law is applied to society. The purpose of this research is in accordance with the existing problems, namely to find out how the Restorative Justice mechanism is implemented in society based on the applicable laws and regulations. This study uses empirical research by collecting data directly into the field, with the research location at the Sleman Resort Police. Then by comparing the provisions stipulated in the legislation and the application that occurs in society. The results of this study are that the implementation of the Restorative Justice mechanism is in accordance with the provisions and procedures regulated in statutory provisions, namely Perpol No.8 of 2021.
