Abstract

Tin mining in Bangka Belitung has been carried out since the Dutch colonial era against Indonesia, Tin mining is one of the spearheads of the economy in Bangka Belitung, however tin mining has an impact on the environment, tin mining on beaches and seas makes beaches full of mud caused by mining activities. Researchers then examined how legal protection is for beaches from damage caused by tin mining and the obstacles. The research method used by researchers is empirical research by looking at facts that occur in the field. Then the author concludes that the government has made various efforts to overcome the impact on the coast, but the obstacle is that miners always collide with economic factors. Therefore, researchers provide solutions to the government, especially the government of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
