Abstract

The title of this research is The Water Pipe Development Program in the Surrounding of People's Houses by PT Asri Putra Persada in the Perspective of Social and Environmental Responsibility and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). As a company engaged in the business sector related to the environment,PT. Asri Putra Persada is also obliged to carry out a corporate social responsibility program. This obligation is carried out by PT. Asri Putra Persada through a program to build the water pipe around public houses build by PT. Asri Putra Persada in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This can be investigated normatively using a normative regulatory approach regarding CSR in Indonesia. This type of research is normative legal research. Normative research is research that focuses on legal norms. The conclusion of this writing is PT. Asri Putra Persada as a company that is subject to the provisions of the Company Law and Government Regulations has implemented CSR as intended in the laws and regulations. As for the CSR programs carried out by PT. Asri Putra Persada, one of them is the construction of the water pipe around the public houses which was carried out by Pt. Asri Putra Persada in the area around the people’ s houses around the company. As a company that have a type of business that are not related to the environment, PT. Asri Putra Persada does not have an obligation for running the social and environment resbonsibility program, but it have an obligation fo running the CSR program. Implementation of CSR carried out by PT. Asri Putra Persada corresponds to the elements of CSR.
