Abstract

The development of Environmental law at this time provides many changes, ranging from changes in terms from Environmental Permits to Environmental Approval, changes in the role of affected communities, changes in the authority to assess EIA and also authority in environmental management and monitoring which after the enactment of the Job Creation Law became the authority of the Central Government or Regional Government. The enactment of the Job Creation Law also eliminates several articles that are actually still relevant, but also provides more detailed additions related to B3 Waste. The impacts arising from the change in the status of Business Licensing are felt not only by the government, but also the directly affected community, service providers and business and/or activity owners. The writing of this research discusses a comparative analysis of the change in the status of environmental permits to environmental approvals after the enactment of the Job Creation Law and the impacts arising from these changes. Basically, the changes and impacts felt after the enactment of the Job Creation Law occurred in the administrative system, but did not directly affect the environment.
