Abstract
The activity of clay mining in Sidorejo, Godean has been goes on hereditary. The communities surrounding area Gedang mountain is a clay miner. However the activity of clay mining in Sidorejo does not have license for mining process. Dinas P3BA as official duty has the authority make license for the people activity of clay mining. Until now Dinas P3BA does socialization only to the miner and does not other efforts yet. Legal protection for nature from environmental damage caused by mining without a permit be desirable that is noted so that activity of clay mining does not damage the environment and threat for the miner.
