Abstract

justice Collaborator is a suspect, defendant or convict who collaborates with law enforcement to uncover a criminal act in the same case. The role of justice collaborator is very necessary in dealing with corruption cases, but this role must be accompanied by good legal protection. Corruption crimes are rife in this country, the crime of corruption itself. Literally the term means all kinds of bad acts, such as rottenness, ugliness, depravity, dishonesty, bribery, immorality, deviation from purification, insulting words or utterances. or slander. Justice collaborators are needed as instruments that help overcome corruption cases that are rife in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to find out the role and legal protection of justice collaborators in resolving criminal acts of corruption. This research method uses a normative legal research type, with data collection in this research using the literature study method, and is also equipped with secondary data and primary data.
