Abstract
Human rights are natural, which means that human rights are owned by all humans and are owned automatically from birth. Human rights are universal, that is, human rights generally apply throughout the world. Human rights are a gift that must be respected, upheld and protected by the state, law, government and every person. FPI Laskar carried out attacks on police that could endanger lives. The shooting of FPI troops in Karawang Regency by members of Polda Metro Jaya will be reviewed from Human Rights principles and legal policies. This research uses normative legal research. The data collection method used is literature study. Deductive thinking is drawing conclusions from general things to more specific things. Law enforcement officials have an important role in upholding justice. Every crime involving human rights must be handled seriously without discrimination. In criminal law there are reasons for expunging a crime. The use of firearms must comply with statutory procedures. Police on duty in the field have discretion. The criminal act as stated in the Public Prosecutor's primary indictment was due to forced defense so that the judge acquitted the defendant of all legal charges.
