Abstract

Environmental pollution is one of the serious problems that Indonesia is still facing today. People who do not care about environmental cleanliness are one of the triggers for this pollution. Moreover, the company violates regulations in processing its waste. One of them is PT. Arena Agro Andalan (AAA) in Wonogiri Regency whose waste processing produces an unpleasant odor that disturbs local residents. Therefore, supervision is needed as an effort to prevent environmental pollution. Not only the government, the community can also play a role in eradicating or preventing environmental pollution in order to create a comfortable environment. This research uses empirical research methods, by conducting direct interviews with respondents and related sources, namely the Wonogiri Regency Environmental Service and communities affected by waste pollution. The results of the research are that monitoring has been carried out in Wonogiri Regency by the Environmental Service, but there are still several obstacles in the implementation process.
