Abstract

Honorary employees are Indonesian citizens who meet certain requirements and are appointed by local governments to carry out specific tasks within local government agencies. This research focuses on legal protection for honorary employees (a case study of honorary teachers in Bone Regency, South Sulawesi). The legal issue studied is the regulation of honorary employee termination and how this regulation is implemented with regard to honorary employees. The research method used in this study is normative legal research. Research data was collected through an analysis of existing literature. This study highlights the legal protection that can be provided to honorary employees, as in reality, legal protection for honorary employees is still insufficient. Therefore, the author hopes that this research can serve as a learning tool and contribute to providing legal protection for honorary employees.
