Abstract

Children are an integral part of human survival and the sustainability of a nation and the State. Therefore, in Act 11 of 2012 is set diversion in the juvenile justice system. In this thesis discusses the Diversion To Solve The Case Children Against The Laws In Yogyakarta Regional Police. In this thesis, there are two problems would be elaborated. The first problem is the readiness of the Police diversion of Yogyakarta in applying for resolving cases of children in conflict with the law. The second problem readiness Regional Police diversion of Yogyakarta in applying for resolving cases of children in conflict with the law. The type of this thesis is the normative methods with the data collection process through reading and taking notes from books, documents, literature, legal regulations, and the interview. In this thesis, there had been found two results of the research. First, Yogyakarta Regional Police have had to run a diversion readiness, both in terms of facilities and infrastructure. Second, the Special Region of Yogyakarta Police face a number of obstacles faced in running diversion, either from lack of awareness to run a diversion to less optimal facilities owned by the Yogyakarta Regional Police.
