Abstract
CAFTA is one of Global trade to Indonesian. CAFTA is agreement comprehensive economic cooperation between the association of south east asian nations and the people’s republic of China by reducing trade barriers both tariff barriers and non-tariff. Automatically there will be competition between domestic producers in this case is SMEs and producers from China. The problem are from the protection and competition law. The objective of this research is to identify how the application of legal protection to SMEs. The type of research is a normative legal research with additional interviews with people’s of SMEs. Legal protection for SMEs has not been good enough and not optimal for now, especially against global trade.
