Abstract
If the police role was effective in providing the law protection for child as the witness for the criminal acts victims of sexual violence. The inhibition factors for the police in providing the law protection for the child as the witness for the criminal acts victims of sexual violence. This study was using normative study concerning law fundamentals of the legislation substances. This study was using secondary data as the primary data and the primary data as the supporting data. The police role was effective in providing the law protection for child as the witness for the criminal acts victims of sexual violence but not yet maximal. To implement the tasks and functions, the policies cooperated with child protection agencies. The inhibition encountered in the investigation was difficulties on understanding the child. The child’s evidence was not consistent. A child who witnessed the victims of sexual violence tent to be closed and his physical condition was not stable.
