Abstract

The tittle of writing is the Role and Function of the Attorney in Removing Corruption during the Time After the Executive Order Number 11 Year 2005 about Removing Corruption Coordinator Team. This study is aimed to know what role and function of the attorney in removing corruption during the time after the executive order and to know what obstacles faced by the attorney in removing corruption. This study was a normative study, which was a study toward the law principles related to the legislation, so that secondary source was needed as the main source. The data was gathered from library research and interview. The data was then analyzed using qualitative method, in which deductive method was used to conclude the result of this study. The result of this study shows that attorney plays role in inquiring, investigating, and prosecuting the corruption case, searching and arresting the person estimated commiting corruption, and tracing and securing assets in reversing the national monetary problem optimally. Meanwhile the result of this study also shows the function of the attorney, which is functioned as a Solid Team that participate in implementing the juridistion sentence. The writer also found 8 obstacles faced by the attorney. Some of them are: sophisticated modus, the corruptor are protected by their leader and friends, and it is hard to gather the proofs.
