Abstract

The title of this graduating paper is the rehabilitation provision towards children as victims of sexual violence. The problem formulation is how to implement the rehabilitation provision towards children as victims of sexual violence. The objective of this study is to determine how to implement the rehabilitation provision towards children as victims of sexual violence. The result of this analysis is in fact the implementation of the rehabilitation provision towards children as victims of sexual violence has not been determined by the judge’s decision even though Article 64 paragraph (3) of Law no. 23 of 2002 (children protection) state that the victims of sexual violence should be rehabilitated. This case could be happen because the courts only deal with the offenders, even if the offenders are children, so that they well be rehabilitated. The victims do not get any attention. Therefore, the rehabilitation of child victims of sexual violence in Yogyakarta is held by P2TPA and LPA. P2TPA implements the rehabilitation for child victims of sexual violence in a way to restore them to normal state and LPA carries out rehabilitation of child victims of sexual assault by monitoring in order they do not let the child victims of sexual assault do not get attention from people nearby.
