Abstract

In this era, the usage of the internet become a necessity. Internet can be use to get a lot of information about what you want to know and need. Blog and website as the most interest for people have a lot content infringement problem. This is happen because it is very easy for people who want to take it and they are not afraid with Copyright law because although Indonesia has Copyright Law to regulate Copyright problem but the problem is in fact this law seems doesn’t have power in the application on cyberworld. This research uses the method of normative research using primary and secondary legal materials that legislation and the books as a reference material also data from internet. This research use statute approach to analyze the problem base on law. This research have purpose to explore what Indonesia copyright law can do against content infringement on the internet and what is needed to develop copyright law. The Result of this research proves the copyright can protect content infringement but it needs some way to make it easy in its application.
