Abstract

This research, entitled Consumer Protection Law Against Foods Containing Formaldehyde And Borax in Sleman Regency. This research aims to find out what forms of accountability entrepreneurs who indicated using the supplementary materials formaldehyde and borax. The process of this research uses empirical legal research methods, namely the method of legal research by interviewing the informant, the respondents, and researched material library. With this empirical method it will be described matters relating to foods containing formaldehyde and borax, perform processing empirical data in Sleman Regency, and provide an assessment of the legal responsibility of the consumer. From this research found a result that legal liability is charged to businesses as well as governments and consumers play an active role to supervise the meals using formaldehyde and borax.
