Abstract

Title of this research is “Completion and Insurance for the Employees in PT. Mitra Adi Jaya Cigarette Manufacturing Firm Against Health Loss Risks Affected by Any Possible Diseases from the Work Place.” This research was performed to know and obtain data about completion and insurance for the employees in PT. Mitra Adi Jaya Cigarette Manufacturing Firm against health loss risks affected by any possible diseases from the work place and factors influencing the emergence of the diseases. Method in this research used empirical laws and principles which focused on law societies or law communities. In this law research being performed quantitatively analysis through reasoning processes to infer a deductive-processed conclusion. Result of this research shows that PT. Mitra Adi Jaya Cigarette Manufacturing Firm does not give job security insurance for the employees suffering from health loss affected by the diseases come from the work place in the form of Job Accident Insurance instead of Autonomous Health Insurance (JPK Mandiri). PT. Mitra Adi Jaya insures its employees against diseases come from risks of work place to JPK Mandiri because there are many claims proposed by its employees are rejected by JAMSOSTEK within reasons that the claims are not emegency actions thus there are many employees do not get the payment for claims ofthe loss. PT. Mitra Adi Jaya has been insuring its employees in accordance with what is ordered by the regulation even better than it and factors that are influencing the emerging diseases come from the work place are dust or nicotine from the tobacco-leaveas directly inhaled by the employees, especially those who do not wear masker during their working times, and also because of the contract work that causes the lack of resting times for those employees because they have to fulfil the targets.
