Abstract

A study on growth substrate of Ficus pumila was conducted in experiment garden, Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University. The objectives of this research were study the need of nutrient for F. pumila growth and the appropriate medium for creep. The reseach methods were field survey to get F. pumila explant, analyses macronutrients and micronutrients of soil where it grow and wall where it creep. Result indicated that macronutrients from soil are: 0.18 % N, 189.89 ppm P, 0.07% K, 0.20% Ca and 0.50% S. The micronutrients are: 0.37% N Fe, 48.42% Cu, 67.43 ppm Zn, 359.46 ppm Mn, 0.76 % Cl, 0.08% Na and 0.45 % Mg. Macronutrients from medium for creep are 0.05% N, 75.73 ppm P, 0.09% K, 0.15% Ca and 0.86% S. The micronutrients are 0.31% Fe, 31.23 ppm Cu, 22.27 ppm Zn, 458.59 ppm Mn, 2.89% Cl, 0.05% Na and 0.24% Mg.
