Abstract

Domestic violence is actually not new , but always kept secret by the family or by the victim because the family is regarded as an internal matter only. Domestic violence is not just happening to the wife only , but can also override other family members such as children or even domestic workers . The purpose of this study was to determine what steps can be taken to provide legal protection against domestic workers who are victims of domestic violence and to find out what are the constraints in the implementation of the legal protection of domestic workers . This research method using literature books , legal and interviews with relevant parties . The results of this study is the need for law enforcement elimination of domestic violence and the need for explicit cooperation between the parties involved in handling cases of domestic helpers who are victims of domestic violence .
