Abstract

The title of this legal research is "Yogyakarta police efforts in Tackling Domestic Violence with Child Victims". The background of this research is the increasing violence in the household with the child victim. There’s parents nothing to tray for know that character many children. The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts madein tackling domestic violence with child victims and to determine the barriers faced by yogyakarta police in tackling domestic violence with child victims. The method used in this study is a normative legal research. Source of data used is secondary data obtained through literature , namely primary raw materials and secondary raw materials. Based on this research, the efforts made by the police in tackling the Yogyakarta area of domestic violence with the child victim is by way of direct action and direct action. Obstacles faced by local police in tackling Yogyakarta Domestic violence victims with children divided into two namely the constraints of the internal and external constraints.
