Abstract

The purpose of this law is to determine and analyze whether the efforts made by the police and the community of DIY in tackling illicit trafficking, as well as to find out about what are the constraints faced by the police and the DIY community to tackle illicit trafficking. This research is a normative legal research, focusing on norms (law in the books), requires secondary data ( material law ) as the main data , while the primary data as support. In this study, the norm is that in meticulous Act NO 35 of 2009 on Narcotics. Source of data collected by the study of literature in the form of primary legal materials relating Norma Positive Law, the books relating to the illicit traffic in narcotics issues, tertiary ingredient used to give an explanation of primary legal materials and secondary legal materials consisting of a dictionary. results of original research, websites and newspapers relating to preventive and repressive measures against the proliferation of illicit trafficking that could damage the future of Indonesian society. Methods of data collection using library research, interviews with the head of the division bin opsnal Yogyakarta police and some community leaders. The method of analysis is done by understanding the stringing or reviewing data collected systematically.
