Abstract
The role of Police in tackling online prostitutions is aimed to determine wheter the efforts and constraints of the police for tackling prostitution is already performing well in community or not. The kins of this law’s reaserch is normative reaserch. The research resulted in an attempt of police in tackling online prostitutions, known as penal effort, is by counseling and outreaching to the general public. This way makes people do not commit prostitution. Police in Surabaya shared knowlegdes about the risks or negative impacts by taking job as a pimp. Aresstments of the pimps and the custumers of sex workers by Polrestabes Surabaya. Some Contraints that faced is the number of police with the fewer of them which is places in prostitution online’s cases. This issue makes police could not catch the pimps fast. Therefore the number of police should be added in this case, so it can be done well.
