Abstract

Protection of the law for customers against data on internet service banking, because in practice the internet service banking is one of delivery channels service banking related to the one hand, has given a lot of benefits, but at the other side of the risk that can cause a loss for customers. In connection with that, protection of customers for data on internet service banking is required in order to protect the rights of customers as consumer services sector. Research to know how that protection of the rule of law for customers against data on internet service banking and the law what can do customers if personal data is unprotected.The study, this is a qualitative deductive, with the research in the form of research literature and doing an interview. The research shows that even though there are no regulations that govern particular about protection of personal data customers of internet users banking, but in order of the positive in Indonesia there are some regulations that have given legal protection for customers of internet users banking. The protection customers of internet users banking is related aspects of security technology but needs to be done in the reliability of information technology, related aspects of protection of personal data customers have done a self regulation and government regulation, related aspects of the simmering dispute with the options the media solution that is through the court or through court, and are involved in things going on losses to customers of internet users banking. The protection of the law of personal data customers of internet users banking needs the involvement of many parties, including customers, banks, government, Bank Indonesia, and related parties.
