Abstract

Nowadays there are many large-scale production businesses, either private or stateowned company. One of them is PT. Pagilaran that in carrying out its activities the company is expected not only pay attention to the financial aspect, but also pay attention to social, environmental, cultural and local wisdom as set forth in article 74 of Law No. 40 of 2007 on Limited Liability Company (PT) which describes the social responsibility and environment which must be implemented by the company that related to natural resources. Based on the background, the problem formulations are whether the implementation of corporate social responsibility of PT. Pagilaran has accommodated the values of local wisdom and whether the values of local wisdom is in conformity with the positive laws and the applicable legislation? The purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of corporate social responsibility of PT. Pagilaran which accommodates the values of local wisdom and to know the values of local wisdom according to the positive law or the applicable legislation. The research method that is selected is normative legal research which focuses on the legislation that is supported by the results of the interviews with the related resource. PT. Pagilaran has run the corporate social responsibility due regard to local wisdom. In addition, the value of local wisdom is appropriate to the legislation in force.
