Abstract

The title of legal writing the author took is The Process of Implementation of Rehabilitation to the Victim of Psychotropic Misuse in Area of Yogyakarta Special Region. The author took this title by background that Indonesia is a developing state of which needs even development in all field. Along with the era development and technology advance that exist in Indonesia, thus, there is an increase in criminal in social life. One of them is psychotropic misuse. Based on the Law Number 5 of 1997 on Psychotropic, it states all activities relating to psychotropic couldn't be permitted continuously by reason its resulting effects are very extraordinary, of which comprises of physical, mental, and emotional damages or even the way of life. Considering from given emerging effects, thus it is very important to prevent psychotropic misuse to be strived serious efforts in overwhelming the case of psychotropic misuse, by conducting rehabilitation to the victims of psychotropic. In the area of Yogyakarta Special Region, it needs governmental role as the supervisory of implementation of rehabilitation to the victims of psychotropic. Thus, from given background, the author formulated two problems, as follow: What is the form of implementation of rehabilitation to the victims of psychotropic misuse in the area of Yogyakarta Special Region? Based on the result of conducted research, thus the author drawn conclusion as follow: 1) The shape of the implementation of rehabilitation to the victims of psychotropic misuse in the area of Yogyakarta Special Region is conducted by two methods, i.e. medical and social rehabilitation. 2) Mechanisms of rehabilitation process to the victims of psychotropic misuse in the area of Yogyakarta Special Region begun from initial process of addicted is taken into, registered by their family and then completing the form as administration procedures, and then the patients are taken into an isolating room.
