Abstract
This research aims to identify and analyze the impact of banner ads characteristics on viewer clicking behaviour. And the other aims of this research is also to identify banner ads criterion which preferable to consumer, in order to design banner ads. This research also analyzed about the influence of gender to each banner ads criterion. The model of this research is experimental research. This research use literature study and survey method by spreading the questioner's. The study successfully obtained 35 respondents. This study result three important inventions. The First, banner ads characteristics (size, position, and animation) doesn't have influence on viewer clicking behaviour. The Second, there is no significant influence between man's and woman's banner ads criterion. The Third, design banner ads which consumers preferable are big size, horizontal position, and animated banner ads.
