Abstract

The advance of information technology had changed human perception on various activities which formerly had been merely monopolized by physical activities. The existence of internet changed paradigm of human communication in association and business. Internet drastically changed concept of distance and time, thus it seems that this world is a small and unlimited. However, then it emerged many problems from the advancement of information technology, i.e. the existence of misusing of credit card through internet or often mentioned as carding, where in Indonesia there has not been established any specific regulations concerning this matter. Concerning such matter, the author conducted Legal Research entitled Juridical Review toward Carding Criminal Act (Credit Card Crime through Internet) in Indonesia. Research methodology used was normative legal research where the author used legislation and judge decision as primary legal source and literary study as secondary legal source. In overwhelming cyber crime cases in generally or carding in particularly, the legal enforcers still used Criminal Code which according to the author it is not relevant to overwhelm current case such as cyber crime and carding.
