Abstract

The writing of this law is entitled Juridical Review of Wages for Workers during the Covid-19 pandemic in the City of Yogyakarta. The problem with writing this law is that the COVID-19 pandemic has paralyzed several economic sectors, making the implementation of workers' wages unclear. Unclear wages have become a situation that is quite worrying for workers because even though the situation is declared a pandemic, the necessities of life must still be fulfilled. This legal writing uses empirical legal research by focusing on existing social facts, direct interviews with informants to obtain primary data and also by collecting secondary data consisting of primary and secondary legal materials. For data analysis, it is concluded that the inductive method is being used. It concludes that the implementation of wages during the covid-19 pandemic tends to experience cuts both based on an agreement between workers and the company, or the company unilaterally. The government also has not established a clear legal basis, there is only an appeal in the form of a Ministerial Circular.
