Abstract

This legal writing discusses the implementation of Law Number 2 of 2012 concerning Land Acquisition for Development for the Public Interest on the Kediri - Tulungagung Toll Road Section 1, specifically about compensation. The formulation of the problem is how to apply for compensation for freehold land in land acquisition for the construction of the Kediri - Tulungagung Section 1 toll road in Tiron Village, Banyakan District, Kediri Regency, East Java Province, according to Law Number 2 of 2012 concerning Land Acquisition for Development for the Public Interest. The data analysis method used in this research is qualitative research. According to the results of the research, the process of land acquisition and compensation is in accordance with what is regulated by law. This research is in the process of giving compensation for property rights land in the construction of the Kediri - Tulungagung Section I toll road has been in accordance with Law Number 2 of 2012 concerning Land Acquisition for Development for the Public Interest.
